We are hiring canvassers to meet homeowners in the neighborhoods where our crews already work. You do not need to know trees on day one. We teach you what to look for. You need to be friendly, steady and willing to knock on a lot of doors.
Pay
- $750 a month draw.
- Plus 5% of the total revenue on any job sold from the photos you send in for estimates.
What you will do
- Walk neighborhoods near our active jobs and after storms, and talk with homeowners face to face.
- Point out what you see: dead limbs over a roof, trees touching lines, storm damage, old stumps.
- When a homeowner is interested, take clear photos of the trees and send them in with the address so we can build a free estimate.
- Log every door and every set of photos on your phone the same day.
- Follow each city's door-to-door rules and respect every "No Soliciting" sign.
What you need
- 18 or older.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable way to get to neighborhoods across DFW.
- Comfortable walking outside for hours in Texas weather.
- Friendly, clear and honest with people. No pressure selling.
- A smartphone you can use for logging visits.
Nice to have
- Door-to-door experience in roofing, solar, pest control, lawn care or similar.
- Speaks Spanish as well as English.
Schedule
Monday to Saturday, daytime hours. Full-time or part-time.
How hiring works
- Apply. Fill in the form on this page. It takes about 2 minutes.
- Phone call. We call you within 2 business days to talk about the job and answer your questions.
- Meet the owner. If it looks like a fit, you meet with us in person.
- Ride along. Your first days are spent knocking doors next to an experienced teammate before you go out on your own.
