We are a growing tree company with more estimate requests than we can visit. We need an experienced tree service salesperson to run estimates, close work and lead a small team of canvassers. This is a commission job with a real pipeline behind it from day one.

Pay

  • A $1,000 draw for your first 2 weeks while your commissions get going.
  • 10% of the total contract price on every job you sell from a company lead.
  • 15% of the total contract price on every job you sell from a lead you find yourself.
  • No cap on commission.

What you will do

  • Visit homes and properties across DFW to look at trees, measure the work and write clear estimates.
  • Explain the job in plain words: what gets cut, how the crew gets in, and where the wood goes.
  • Close the work and follow up on every open estimate until it is a yes or a no.
  • Find your own leads through neighbors, referrals, HOAs and property managers.
  • Lead and coach our door-to-door canvassers, and ride along with new hires.
  • Keep every lead and estimate up to date in our CRM, and review the pipeline with the owner each week.

What you need

  • At least 2 years selling tree service work: removals, trimming, stump grinding.
  • Able to judge a tree on site and price the work so the crew can do it safely and profitably.
  • Valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle.
  • Comfortable with phone calls, texting customers and using a CRM.

Nice to have

  • ISA Certified Arborist.
  • Knows North Texas trees and problems like oak wilt, and the city tree rules in DFW.
  • Has led or trained a sales or canvassing team.
  • Speaks Spanish as well as English.

Schedule

Full-time. Monday to Saturday, with your own estimate schedule.
